Recreation services volunteers to host free community garden workshop about growing garlic
Families are welcome to attend workshop
– Paso Robles Recreation Services volunteers will host a free public workshop at the Uptown Family Park Community Garden on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 10 – 11 a.m. The event welcomes participants of all ages to learn about the preparation, healthy growth, and lifecycle of garlic. The workshop will take place at Uptown Family Park, 641 36th Street, Paso Robles. No registration is required. Families are welcome at the garden workshops.
Thanks to the dedication of local volunteers, the garden has been revitalized and is thriving. It includes fruits and vegetables, along with cutting flowers, ornamentals, and common species used in landscaping on the Central Coast. These recurring workshops are held on the fourth Saturday of each month.
“We are thrilled to bring this hands-on, educational workshop to the community garden and create a welcoming space for learning and connection,” said Wyatt Lund, Volunteer Coordinator.
“These workshops are a great opportunity for residents to gather, grow, and appreciate the beauty of gardening together.”
