Registration open for summer Lego camp 

The City of Atascadero and Bricks 4 Kidz will be offering a summer Lego and Minecraft engineering class, open to kids 5 to 11 years old. Legos

The first session of the camp will run Monday thru Friday, June 22 to 26 and the second session will run Monday through Friday, July 6 to 10. Both sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The camp takes place at the Colony Park Community Center, 5599 Traffic Way and the cost is $200.50 per student.

Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. Kids will build shelters, some of the mobs, critters and tools. Instructors from Bricks 4 Kidz will provide inspiration for students to take their creations further, and students are allowed to make important choices.
