Remaining spots available in summer youth camps at Cuesta College North Campus
Scholarships available for qualifying families attending North County Campus camps
– Enrollment remains open for Cuesta College Community Programs’ College for Kids Junior Camps at the North County Campus in Paso Robles, offering children ages 6 to 12 opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through hands-on learning experiences this summer.
For the first time, the College for Kids Junior Camps are being offered at Cuesta College’s North County Campus, expanding access to educational enrichment opportunities for families in North San Luis Obispo County.
Camps run Monday through Thursday in one-week sessions through July 16. Programs include Chemical Creations, AI Smartcore 4 Robot, RECO Robot, and Future Engineers.
“This expansion allows more local families to access the high-quality learning experiences College for Kids has provided for nearly 40 years,” said Frankie Maldonado, community programs coordinator. “Students get the chance to become scientists, inventors, engineers, and robot designers through fun, hands-on activities that build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills.”
College for Kids is celebrating its 39th year and has provided educational enrichment opportunities to thousands of local children. The Junior Camps program has served young learners for 15 years.
Scholarships are available for qualifying families attending North County Campus camps. Partial scholarships are also available for select San Luis Obispo Campus programs.
“This camp gave my child a chance to explore new interests, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. We are grateful for the experience,” one parent said.
Registration is ongoing, but space is limited.
