– A proposed 181-home development in San Miguel could significantly expand the town’s housing supply, according to a report by the San Luis Obispo Tribune.
The San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission held its first hearing Jan. 24 on the project, which would add more than 20% to San Miguel’s existing 813 housing units. The proposal includes single-family homes, affordable housing units, commercial parcels, parks, and public trails.
Commissioners continued the project to a Feb. 26 meeting to allow the applicant additional time to address infrastructure and phasing concerns.
