Republican Women Federated hosting president of Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association
–Paso Robles Republican Women Federated has announced that Jon Coupal, President of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, will be the featured speaker at its monthly meeting at the Paso Robles Inn Ballroom on Monday, Jan. 15. Non-members, both men and women, may reserve to attend.
The price, including a buffet luncheon following Coupal’s presentation, is $22 (cash) for members and associates of CFRW or $24 for non-members. Coupal will be providing the latest news on tax legislation, ballot initiatives, legal actions and threats to Proposition 13. The petition for putting the repeal of the increases to California’s gas tax and vehicle license fee on the November 2018 ballot will be available for signature. Attendees will be afforded the opportunity to ask Coupal questions about the complicated tax issues and costs that are causing many residents to flee California.
