Resource fair connects seniors with local services
Free event will feature housing, health, transportation, and veteran resources
– Older adults, veterans, caregivers, and family members are invited to attend a free Community Resource Fair on June 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Paso Robles Senior Center, 270 Scott St.
The fair will bring together local organizations, nonprofits, and service providers to share information about programs and resources that support independence, health, and quality of life.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with representatives and learn about services including housing assistance, legal aid, senior living options, home care, health and wellness programs, transportation services, and veteran resources.
Organizers said the event is intended to provide a convenient opportunity for community members to explore available services, ask questions, and learn about programs that may benefit individuals and families now or in the future.
“This event is about bringing valuable resources together in one location and helping older adults access the support they need,” said Elaine Ernst, Recreation Services Representative. “Whether someone is looking for assistance today or planning for the future, there will be information and experts available to help.”
The Community Resource Fair is free and open to the public.
Community members are encouraged to visit the event to meet local service providers and learn more about resources available throughout San Luis Obispo County.
The Paso Robles Senior Center offers recreational, educational, health, and social programs for older adults. The center also provides opportunities for wellness activities, lifelong learning, social connection, and access to community resources.
