Rhone Rangers 2026 event offering discount to Central Coast residents
Two-day Experience includes workshops, luncheon, Grand Tasting, and auction
– The national Rhone Rangers will host the 18th Rhone Rangers Experience from March 20–21 at two Paso Robles venues.
The event will begin March 20 with “Legacies & Legends: The Rhone Rangers OGs,” an evening conversation with wine journalist Patrick Comiskey and four of the original Rhone Rangers: Frederic Cline, Bill Easton, Randall Grahm, and Adam Tolmach. The program will take place at The AVA Hotel’s Tablas Ballroom. Guests will be able to taste library wines and special releases while hearing from the winemakers who launched the American Rhone wine movement.
A full day of programming is scheduled for March 21 at the Paso Robles Event Center. Morning “Choose your Rhône Adventure” workshops will be followed by an afternoon Vintners’ Luncheon prepared by Chef Jeffery Scott, the Grand Tasting, and a silent auction.
The Grand Tasting will feature Rhone Rangers from throughout the organization, including wineries from Paso Robles, Santa Barbara County, Ojai, Monterey, Napa, Sonoma, El Dorado, Lodi, Temecula, Arizona, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. More than 250 wines will be poured, including single varietals and blends. Silent auction lots donated by member wineries will include large-format bottles, rare releases, winery and vineyard tours, guest house stays, and private tastings. Proceeds from the auction will support the Rhone Rangers educational programs and scholarship fund.
Event organizers have introduced à la carte ticketing for 2026. Options include an All-Access weekend pass for both days of events, a Saturday Day Pass, an individual ticket for the Friday “Legends” program, or a stand-alone Grand Tasting ticket. The Rhone Rangers are offering a $10 discount on each Grand Tasting ticket for Central Coast residents who enter promo code SLOCAL at checkout. Discounted tickets cost $55 plus tax and fees, reduced from the regular $65 plus tax and fees.
