Ribbon cutting held at fairgrounds of inaugural ‘Showcase of Cities’
–The California Mid-State Fair held an official ribbon cutting ceremony for the inaugural Showcase of Cities being displayed at the 2018 California Mid-State Fair.
Eleven communities are showcased in a dynamic and animated display located in the very large showcase windows of the Frontier Pavilion in Frontier Town.
Displays feature the brightest and best aspects of each city or town, designed to encourage future opportunities for the viewer to discover hidden treasures and make visitation plans to specific attractions.
Participating communities include Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Oceano & Nipomo, Cal Poly and Visit SLO Cal.
The California Mid-State Fair will also host a “People’s Choice Award” honoring Fair guests’ favorite display.
