Riding warehouse hosting tack swap Sept. 24
Event held in San Luis Obispo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
— Riding Warehouse in San Luis Obispo is hosting their biannual community parking lot tack swap on Sept. 24 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This event is free to the community. Everyone is welcome to come to buy, sell, or trade. Sellers will reserve a space and bring their tack, horse supplies, riding clothes, boots, and anything else they’ve decided to clean out; buyers will find great deals.
Riding Warehouse will be offering $5 lunch combos of hot dog, chips, drink, and cookie at noon and hosting a one-day 20-percent off in store sale plus a deep discount “Bargain Corral” of lightly used items. There will also be gift card giveaways throughout the day.
Spots are free and on a first come, first serve basis. Sellers are welcome to start setting up their spaces at 8:30 a.m.; free pastries and coffee will be provided during set-up. Items left at the end of the day will be donated to local equine charities.
Riding Warehouse is online retailer and has a storefront at 181 Suburban Rd. in San Luis Obispo.
