Road work projects on ‘Wye’ intersection towards Fresno starts Monday 

–A two-week maintenance project to grind and pave three miles north of the “Wye” intersection toward Fresno will begin on Monday, June 25, Caltrans officials have announced.

Motorists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control from three miles north of the Y to the intersection of State Route 41/46 Monday through Thursday, June 28 and again Monday, July 9 through Thursday, July 12 from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. They can expect traffic delays of up to 20 minutes. State Routes 46 and 33 are the recommended alternate route.

Electronic message signs will be posted to alert motorists of this roadwork.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down while driving through highway construction zones.
