Road work to block northbound Highway 101 exit at San Ramon in Atascadero
Signs and detours posted during three-day road project
– The San Ramon Road off-ramp on northbound Highway 101 will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 15 due to roadway paving work at the intersection of El Camino Real and the San Ramon Road off-ramp.
The northbound Highway 101 on-ramp at this location will remain open during the construction period. El Camino Real will also stay open but will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic. Motorists traveling on El Camino Real should expect significant delays.
Drivers are advised to use the detour at the northbound Highway 101 Del Rio Road off-ramp. Directional and message signs will be in place to guide motorists through the detour routes. Officials urge drivers to pay attention to posted signage and plan for delays near the construction zone.
The roadwork is part of the Lift Station 13 and Force Main Sewer Project. Businesses in the affected area will remain open and accessible throughout the construction period.
