Roadwork on Airport Road continues
–Roadwork on Airport Road north of Highway 46 East continues. Cannon Associates is doing horizontal drilling for a sewer main down Airport Road. Although there is one-way, alternating traffic control, the delays are less than two minutes. Capital Projects Engineer Ditas Esperanza of the Paso Robles Public Works Department says, “That work will continue through May and into early June. When it’s completed, work will resume on Dry Creek Road’s sewer line.”
The work to install a sewer line on Dry Creek Road was delayed because the ground is too wet. Crews are expected to return to Dry Creek Road in late June and July. During the roadwork, traffic will be restricted to only one direction- eastbound. Westbound traffic on Dry Creek Road will be detoured to the east and over to Highway 46.
