Rock N’ Robles Pizza makes donation to Veterans of Foreign Wars

VFW Accepts $1000 check from Rock N’ Robles Grill & Pizza Kitchen

Rock N’ Robles Grill & Pizza Kitchen Management, Robert Snyder and Sheila Stewart, recently presented a check for $1,000 to Paso Robles VFW Commander Cote. Mayor Steve Martin along with members of the VFW Post of Paso Robles also attended.

Memorial Day Weekend, Rock N’ Robles dedicated a 48-star flag donated by Heritage Ranch customer Jeff Bump and further announced part of the sales from the weekend would be donated to the VFW of Paso Robles. During the check presentation, Rock N’ Robles invited the Heritage Ranch and Oak Shores community to submit names of fallen soldiers (either family or friends). The first fallen soldier’s name was submitted during the ceremony.

Ryan J. Connolly lost his life in 2008 while serving in Afghanistan. His widow, Stephanie, attended the ceremony. Now, the restaurant is collecting additional names and create dedication plaques, which will become part of the flag pole that the restaurant is constructing.

“Rock N’ Robles Grill & Pizza Kitchen is much more than a restaurant. We are a community center where people can gather, linger, eat great food and meet new friends,” said Robert W. Snyder, Esq., Manager of Rock N’ Robles Grill & Pizza Kitchen. “As such, we believe we have a responsibility to give back to the community that supports us. Our donation and dedication of the new flag pole are just the beginning of what’s in store this year.”
