Rodeo finals, monster trucks to return to Mid-State Fair
Tickets go on sale next Tuesday
– The California Mid-State Fair announced that tickets for the 805 Country Rodeo Finals and Monster Truck Takeover will go on sale Tuesday, June 24 at 10 a.m.
The 805 Country Rodeo Finals will take place Saturday, July 26. The Monster Truck Takeover, presented by Slime, will take place Sunday, July 27. Both events begin at 7 p.m. inside the Main Grandstand Arena.
Tickets for the 805 Country Rodeo Finals cost $40 for reserved seating for all ages, $30 for general admission for adults 13 and older, $25 for youth ages 3-12 and $40 on the day of the show. Tickets for Monster Truck Takeover cost $35 for reserved seating for all ages, $25 for general admission for adults 13 and older, $20 for youth ages 3-12 and $35 on the day of the show. The 805 Country Rodeo Finals will feature cowboys and cowgirls competing in match roping, team penning, double mugging, barrel racing, breakaway roping and other rodeo events. Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association announcer Steve Goadert will call the action, and Brinson James Harris will entertain the crowd. The show will also feature the traditional parachute flag drop.
The Monster Truck Takeover will feature four trucks — Hillbilly, Double Trouble, Monster Moose and more — along with a best trick contest, side-by-side racing and no-rules freestyle action.
The California Mid-State Fair will take place July 16 through July 27. The theme for this year’s fair is “Off to the Races!”
