–From the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the county, Rotta Winery is releasing the 2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is a collaboration of Rotta Winery owner Sebastian Budeguer and Rotta Winemaker Christian Tietje.

“I am happy just sitting here and smelling this wine” said Tietje. “It has bouquet for days. Bright red berry fruit with hints of cassis and créme brulee. “We have had the opportunity to share our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon with some leaders in the Paso Robles wine industry and are enjoying some amazing feedback.” said Budeguer. “Now is the fun time where we get to share it with our guests”.

Rotta Winery owner, Sebastian Budeguer, who also owns Budeguer Winery in Mendoza Argentina, is in Paso Robles for the special release of his family’s first Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.

This special 2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is very limited having produced only 80 cases. “It was the very best of the 2016 vintage” said winemaker Christian Tietje.

Rotta Winery is open to the public Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by reservation at the Rotta Club House seven days per week.
