Royal Air Force aircraft lands at Paso Robles Airport
British cargo plane supports mission across Central Coast
– A British Royal Air Force Airbus A-400M aircraft arrived at Paso Robles Airport last weekend, delivering freight in preparation for an upcoming mission spanning the Central Coast and Southern California, according to a Facebook post by the City of Paso Robles.
The Royal Air Force will conduct operations from Camp Roberts, located north of Paso Robles, and Perris Valley starting Jan. 27, with activities scheduled to continue through mid-February.
Airport staff worked alongside Loyd’s Aviation to manage the arrival of the aircraft. The team coordinated the offloading of freight and refueled the A-400M with 9,000 gallons of Jet-A fuel.
