San Antonio Historical Society to host fall dinner

Ancestor's Speak san antonio historical society

–The San Antonio Valley Historical Association will be hosting Suzanne Pierce Taylor, author of The Ancestors Speak, at their Fall Dinner at the San Antonio Valley Community Center in Lockwood on Oct. 31 at 5:30 p.m. She will discuss her research and genealogy of her family dating to 1602, in the San Antonio Valley, Southern Monterey County.

Taylor’s roots are deep in the San Antonio Valley, “as deeply anchored as the ancient valley oaks growing in its soil.” As she states in her book, her family’s story, “is a true California story; including 14 generations covering the last 332 years.” As the story unfolds, “it will reveal how its circle of transition begins and ends in the same location in Monterey County.”

Dinner tickets will be a $25 donation. To RSVP or for additional information, contact (805) 423-2845 or SAVHA4@gmail.com.
