    San Luis Obispo Concerts in the Plaza lineup announced for summer 2025 

    – Downtown San Luis Obispo, in partnership with the City of San Luis Obispo, announced the lineup for the 29th season of Concerts in the Plaza. The summer concert series will run every Friday from June 20 to Sept. 12, at San Luis Obispo’s Mission Plaza.

    Concerts in the Plaza, the largest free concert series on the Central Coast, will feature live local music, dancing, and drinks in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo. The community is invited to attend these family-friendly concerts, all of which are free to the public.

    The official lineup was revealed at a Lineup Reveal Party on March 2, at Libertine Brewing Co. Musicians and community members gathered to be the first to see the list of performers for the 2025 season.

    Dates and Times

    Concerts will take place every Friday from June 20 to September 12, 2025. There will be no concert on July 4.

    Opening performances will begin at 5 p.m. and the main performances will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. After-parties at Libertine Brewing Co. will start at 8:30 p.m. The lineup for the after-parties will be released in the spring.

    Opening performance: Vintage Renegades – rock/pop/country favorites
    Main performance: Moonshiner Collective – Americana/rock

    June 27
    Opening performance: Holding Pattern – acoustic indie
    Main performance: Vince Cimo’s Hot Fire – funk

    July 11
    Opening performance: Ras Danny – roots/reggae
    Main performance: Hot 45 – r&b

    July 18
    Opening performance: Sadie Jasper – pop/singer-songwriter
    Main performance: The Vibe Setters – soul/funk

    July 25
    Opening performance: About Time – cosmic California rock
    Main performance: The Molly Ringwald Project – 80s pop

    August 1
    Opening performance: Jineanne Coderre – r&b/pop
    Main performance: Josh Rosenblum Band – pop rock

    August 8
    Opening performance: ghost\monster duo – rock
    Main performance: Resination – roots/reggae

    August 15
    Opening performance: To Be Determined by the Battle of the Openers! DowntownSLO.com/Battle
    Main performance: Damon Castillo Band – rock/soul

    August 22
    Opening performance: TwoPaperSquares – folk/bluegrass
    Main performance: B & The Hive – indie rock/pop

    August 29
    Opening performance: Emily Smith – pop/rock/country
    Main performance: IMVA – r&b/soul

    September 5
    Opening performance: Cate Armstrong – folk/singer-songwriter
    Main performance: Carbon City Lights – alternative/rock

    September 12
    Opening performance: Dave Tate – pop/rock/singer-songwriter
    Main performance: Brass Mash – instrumental/pop

    Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. Guests are welcome to bring outside food, but outside alcohol is prohibited. Beer from Firestone-Walker Brewing Company, cider from SLO Cider, and three wine options from a downtown wine bar will be available. Food options include Woodstock’s Pizza and Nick the Greek.

    All beverages will be sold in reusable cups or aluminum cans. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own non-glass reusable cups. A 12oz souvenir cup will be available for purchase.

    A free bike valet will be provided by Bike SLO County. Pets are not allowed at the concerts.

    Promotional artwork for the 2025 season was created by local artist Amandalee Design.
