–The Santa Clara Drum and Bugle Corps practiced, lived and slept for three days at Flamson Middle School in preparation for national competition. Thursday night, the band and dancers practiced on the artificial turf playing field at War Memorial Stadium.
The corps includes musicians and dancers from 28 states and four countries.
After a rehearsal on Friday, the band packed up and left at 11:30 for Southern California for more competition.
