Scholarship applications now open for Central Coast students

Deadline to apply is May 31

    – The California Legislative Central Coast Caucus Foundation has opened applications for the 2025 Central Coast Impact Scholarship.

The scholarship provides financial assistance to students from the five counties of the California Central Coast: Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura. The initiative supports students who consider the Central Coast their home and aligns with the foundation’s mission to promote education on issues significant to the region’s communities.

“Reflecting on the success of the inaugural Central Coast Impact Scholarship, we are proud to continue supporting students from Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. Hearing from past recipients about how this scholarship has positively influenced their educational journeys and community involvement reaffirms our commitment to investing in our region’s future leaders,” said Foundation Chair Dawn Addis, assemblymember from Morro Bay. “I am honored to assist these dedicated individuals as they strive to make meaningful contributions locally and beyond.”

The California Legislative Central Coast Caucus Foundation, established in 2024, is a tax-exempt, charitable nonprofit organization. Its mission includes fostering education and providing scholarships to students in the Central Coast region.

Applications are available at CLCCCF.org. The deadline to apply is May 31 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time.
