    Renaming follows restructuring

    – Last night, the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees met and approved renaming two district school sites. This decision came after a previous meeting where the restructuring of two middle schools, Daniel Lewis Middle School (LMS), located at 900 Creston Road, and George Flamson Middle School (Flamson), located at 2405 Spring Street, was approved.

The two schools will now be known as follows: Formerly known as Daniel Lewis Middle School will now be Georgia Brown Dual Immersion School, and formerly known as George Flamson Middle School will now be Lewis Flamson Junior High School.

During the process, both the facility naming committee and the junior high school input committee provided input for the board to consider in their decision-making.

On Feb. 13, 2024, the board approved relocating the dual immersion program to the current Daniel Lewis Middle School Campus and George Flamson Middle School as the new Junior High School due to the closure of an elementary school.
