School district appoints new public information officer

– The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District has appointed Melissa Godsey as its new public information officer.
Godsey has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and public relations. She has worked in community engagement, public service messaging and digital media.
“We are thrilled to welcome Melissa to our team,” Superintendent Jennifer Loftus said. “Her expertise and strategic approach to communication will help strengthen our connection with families, staff, and the broader community.”
Godsey has led communication initiatives that promote transparency, build public trust and align district goals with community needs. She specializes in proactive messaging that supports school district objectives.
“I’m honored to join PRJUSD and excited to get started,” Godsey said. “This is a dynamic, engaged district, and I look forward to working closely with students, families, staff, and the community to share the great work happening in our schools.”
She will begin her role in August.
