School district launches new monthly newsletter

    paso robles schools re-opening

Paso Proud will be distributed monthly through ParentSquare

    – Paso Robles Joint Unified School District has launched Paso Proud, a new monthly newsletter from Superintendent Jennifer Loftus. The publication is intended to keep families, staff, and community members informed about the work taking place across district schools.

Each issue of Paso Proud will highlight student and staff achievements, district updates, and community partnerships.

The inaugural fall issue includes updates on the Measure M–funded aquatics complex and new ADA-accessible playgrounds; recognition of Glen Speck Elementary and Lewis Flamson Junior High for statewide PBIS honors; changes to the district’s cell phone policy and its impact on classroom learning; and new Career Technical Education programs, including the renovation of Lewis Flamson Junior High’s 1953 home economics classroom into a modern construction engineering lab. The issue also features stories celebrating student leadership, athletics, and after-school programs.

Paso Proud will be distributed monthly through ParentSquare to district families and staff, and by email to community subscribers. Members of the public can subscribe at pasoschools.org/pasoproud.

The first issue is available at pasoschools.org/issue1/.

Paso Robles Joint Unified School District serves more than 6,700 students across northern San Luis Obispo County. The district’s core values are integrity, accountability, collaboration, innovation, compassion, and belonging.
