School district leases building to Boys and Girls Club for expansion
The North County Boys and Girls Club will be expanding their services, thanks in part to the approved use of a vacant building on the Flamson Middle School campus. Paso Robles Joint Unified School District’s Board of Directors made the agreement official by approving a request to lease the space at the most recent school board meeting.
The expansion will provide additional opportunities for middle school and high school students located in the vacant building at the corner of the Flamson Middle School campus, located at 24th and Spring streets. The Boys and Girls Club is currently working on renovation plans for the facility and are yet to determine an opening date, according to Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Superintendent Chris Williams.
“We are excited to expand our partnership with the Boys and Girls Club and to provide additional services and support for our students and families,” said Williams.
The contract will charge the Boys and Girls Club $100 per month to use the room, and the agreement will hold until 2025.
