– The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District has appointed Andrea Kittelson as the new director of data, assessment, and plan alignment, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.
Kittelson brings more than 25 years of experience in education. Her career includes classroom teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as administrative roles in juvenile court schools and traditional elementary schools. She has served as a principal in the Los Angeles Unified School District and held positions as a data coordinator and site administrator with the Los Angeles County Office of Education.
In her new role, Kittelson will oversee the coordination and analysis of district-wide data to support strategic planning, instructional alignment, and the implementation of educational initiatives.
“Andrea’s unique blend of instructional expertise, administrative leadership, and data analysis makes her an outstanding addition to our district leadership team,” said Superintendent Jennifer Loftus. “Her experience and passion for using data to drive improvement will help us align our initiatives with measurable student outcomes.”
“I’m thrilled to join the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District team,” Kittelson said. “I believe in the power of data to inform, inspire, and improve education. I look forward to working collaboratively with educators and stakeholders to help every student succeed.”

All these administrative jobs sucking money away from the people who do the good work and deserve to be paid, teachers. Do not ask for another bond measure, not one! I’m sure there were no data specialist working during my high school days and no failing schools as well.

Wow another overpaid administrator to join an already over staffed administration, while teachers and classroom aides are being cut. The answer is not more administration as Chris Williams learned the hard way. Raise teacher pay and keep Classroom aides: support teachers!

Just another way of saying diversity equity and inclusion. Bottom line is more overpaid admin doing nothing to improve the education of a student.
