School district names Vicente Gonzales principal of alternative education

– The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District has appointed Vicente Gonzales as the new principal of alternative education. Gonzales brings more than 20 years of experience in school leadership, coaching and community engagement to his new role.
“Vicente Gonzales has dedicated his career to empowering students and uplifting school communities,” said Superintendent Jennifer Loftus. “His passion for building strong, supportive learning environments and his commitment to restorative, student-first approaches make him an exceptional fit for leading our alternative education programs.”
Gonzales has served in various administrative roles, including principal at all levels, where he mentored staff, implemented instructional strategies and promoted student engagement and achievement. His background also includes work as a juvenile probation officer, where he provided mentorship and built relationships with youth, helping to guide them toward positive life paths.
“I am honored to join the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District as Principal of Alternative Education,” said Gonzales. “I believe deeply in the potential of every student, and I look forward to working alongside our dedicated educators, families and community partners to create environments where all students are seen, supported and inspired to succeed.”
Gonzales’s experience in educational leadership and community-based work aligns with the district’s commitment to equity and excellence. The district said his approach will support students through personalized support and innovative learning models.
