School district staff members present at summits

    Holly Moore.

–This summer, several Paso Robles Joint Unified School District staff members were spotted presenting to teachers and educators throughout the state.

Holly Moore from Pat Butler Elementary presented an Ed Talk at the Better Together California Teachers Summit at Cal Poly, SLO. K-12 teachers from around the state gathered at the nearest host venue to listen to inspiring educators. Break-out sessions on a variety of educator interests were led by teachers and provided a medium for open discussion about best practices. Teacher testimonials and question and answer periods motivated teachers to take these great learning forums back to their classrooms. Holly presented her work on integrating science into her language arts block.

And Dana Budd, Paso Robles Joint Unified School District’s Director of Curriculum and Instruction, was asked to speak about PRJUSD in front of 1000 educators in Southern California.

The topic was MTSS (multi-tiered systems of support) for which PRJUSD was recently awarded a grant.
