Sheriff Ian Parkinson hosts Town Hall Meeting
–About sixty Shandon area residents and Supervisor John Peschong attended Sheriff Ian Parkinson’s Town Hall Meeting at Shandon Elementary School Monday night. The Sheriff explained the implementation of two new Sheriff’s deputy to the area. For two hours the Sheriff answered questions from concerned residents. Eight members of the Sheriff’s Department also attended the meeting at Shandon Elementary School, including several members of the Sheriff’s Posse.
The two new sheriff’s deputies will set-up office at the Shandon Fire Station. During his election campaign, John Peschong proposed adding two sheriff’s deputies to enhance law enforcement in the Shandon area.
