Sheriff’s office conducting search for suspect who fled after domestic disturbance 

Thieves crash stolen car, lead officers on foot chase in North County Read more here: http://www.sanluisobispo.com/news/local/crime/article108125412.html#storylink=cpy–On Sunday, at approximately 12 p.m., the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible domestic disturbance in Avila Beach. Deputies located the suspect vehicle leaving Avila Beach and attempted a traffic stop. The suspect vehicle fled when the deputy approached and a pursuit ensued onto southbound Hwy 101. Deputies lost sight of the vehicle and the pursuit was terminated.

The abandoned vehicle was later located in the city of Pismo Beach. A search for the suspect(s) who fled was conducted by the sheriff’s office, however they were not located. There is no risk to the public and the investigation is ongoing.
