Sheriff’s Office welcomes new deputies, promotes two senior deputies 

New staff will serve in a variety of roles across the county

– The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office held a general assembly to welcome new team members and recognize recent promotions.

Among those promoted was Commander Dave Menghrajani, who will oversee the Professional Standards Unit. The office also promoted two senior deputies.

The assembly introduced five new deputy sheriffs, a new administrative services manager and a new program manager. The new staff will serve in a variety of roles across the county, including working inside the jail, connecting with the community, and applying expertise in forensics and human resources.
