Sherwood improvement project to affect traffic between Creston, Fontana

—The Sherwood Road improvement project began on Apr. 30, 2018 and is scheduled for completion at the end of the year. The project, which affects the area between Creston and Fontana, is headed by contractor Souza Construction, Inc.

The community can expect to see “No Parking” signs with information about the dates and times construction will happen in the area. Following the information on the signs will help avoid delay on the project; however, rain can cause a delay.

The steps in the project are as follows:

  • Sherwood Road concrete improvements, including replacing failed asphalt
  • Installation of sewer manholes and mains
  • Sherwood Road installation of new traffic signal at Commerce, street lights, landscaping, and striping

For more information, call Souza Construction’s office at (805) 546-8288.
