Shirley Maxine Simons dies at 93 

Shirley Maxine Simons was born on Mar. 1, 1925, in Spokane, Wash., passed away on Mar. 3, 2018, in San Luis Obispo. Preceded in death by her husband, of 48 years Jack Simons.

She is survived by her eight children: Jackie Simons, Joni Hemingway, Mike Simons, Janis Hedrick, Harold Simons, Donna Kuhnle, Scott Simons, and Bill Simons, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild that she was not able to meet.

Shirley was the hardest working women that you would ever meet. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and that is what she lived for. She was very involved with her family and her husband, Jack and gave a lot of time at the baseball fields, rodeos, hunting and camping with her family. Shirley was always there giving and caretaking for her family. She lived for her family.
