Sign up for SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup day

coastal cleanup day slo county–SLO County’s Creeks to Coast Cleanup (C2C) is part of an international cleanup event, Coastal Cleanup Day, that over one hundred countries participate in every third Saturday in September. In SLO County, cleanup organizers are anticipating nearly 2,000 volunteers showing up for just one day to pick up and track trash off our coastlines, creeks, and parks.

As County Coordinator, ECOSLO works with the California Coastal Commission to bring out our community in the campaign for healthy coasts, shorelines, and oceans.

Last year, 1,312 volunteers removed 5,688 pounds of trash and recyclables from 36 cleanup locations throughout San Luis Obispo County, in just three hours.
