Signs up for employee parking in downtown

Assistant City Manager Jim Cogan stands next to a newly-installed sign.

–Signs are now up for employee parking in downtown Paso Robles. The parking permit becomes effective Dec. 1. It will restrict parking in several lots Monday-Friday between 8-5.

Those who work in the downtown area are encouraged to purchase an employee parking permit to park in one of the several designated lots downtown. The cost is $5 per month. The lot where Assistant City Manager Jim Cogan is standing is next to Founders Community Bank on Spring Street between 12th and 13th Streets.

Information about the parking permits and employee parking lots is available on the city website: PRCity.com.

The intent of the Employee Parking Program is to provide safe and convenient parking for people who work downtown, and to free up parking spaces around the downtown city park for shoppers, visitors and patrons of downtown businesses.
