Sip at Paso Robles’ newest winery tasting room

Seven Angels Cellars tasting room

–Pamela and Greg Martin are more than pleased and excited to announce the opening of Seven Angels Cellars tasting room in Templeton, and the public is invited!

Seven Angels’ “soft” opening will be held Jan. 19 and 20 between Noon-5 p.m. There will be music, charcuterie and lots of fun served up with their award-winning wines.

The Martins started making wine in 2009, and since then have received numerous 90+point ratings from Wine Enthusiast magazine in addition to gold medals at California and International wine competitions.

Pamela (soon to retire from her previous life as a teacher) has an extensive background in catering, appearing on TV as a home economist for a cooking show, in addition to being schooled in winemaking and having a passion for food and wine pairing.

Greg grew up in California learning about the entire grape growing process from neighbors who grew wine grapes. Being stationed in the Bay Area while in the Coast Guard, Greg became obsessed with wine during his frequent visits to Napa and Sonoma. The blend between Greg and Pamela results in wine perfection: Greg being totally hands on in every aspect starting in the vineyard through the final bottling process, and Pamela, with her experience and finely honed palate, is instrumental in the blending process.

Married in 2008, Greg and Pamela began making wine in 2009-and now, 10 years later, the dream of a tasting room in Paso Robles Wine Country has come to fruition! Producing quality, food-friendly, affordable wines, the wine loving public may now taste and enjoy their wines in the new tasting room.

  • Recent awards: Gold Medal for 2015 Pinot Noir (Mid-State Fair). Gold Medal for 2015 Tempranillo (Orange County Wine Competition).
