Portion of 101 closed next week in San Miguel
The right lane in both directions of US Highway 101 will be closed from San Marcos Road to Camp Roberts East Garrison.
Slab replacement project slated near San Miguel
–A project to replace concrete pavement slabs in both directions of US Highway 101 from north of San Marcos Road to the Camp Roberts East Garrison overcrossing will begin on Sunday, Feb. 28.
The right lane in both directions of US Highway 101 will be closed 24/7 each week from Sunday night at 8 p.m. through Friday afternoon at 2 p.m.
In addition, motorists will encounter intermittent ramp closures Sunday night through Friday morning during the overnight hours from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Motorists can expect minimal delays during this roadwork. The California Highway Patrol will be present to ensure public safety.
The contractor for this $900,000 project is FBD Vanguard Construction of Livermore. It is expected to be complete this spring.
