‘SLO Village’ expanding to North County
–SLO Village is a network connecting screened volunteers and service providers with seniors who want to live happily and successfully in their homes as they age, but who may need a little help. SLO Village currently serves SLO and South County and is now expanding to serve North County as well.
There will be a free informational presentation about the Village to Village Network and about SLO Village. There are over 200 similar “villages” in the US, for more information see https://www.vtvnetwork.org/.
This presentation will be at Paso Robles Senior Center, 270 Scott Street, Paso Robles, Tuesday, April 30 at 1 p.m.
The village is looking for new members and volunteers. Members are seniors who want to stay in their homes. Volunteers can be of any age and skill; no set hours are required, and you can choose your jobs. Come and learn more about it!
