–A section of Creston Road will be getting a new surface in the coming months. The City of Paso Robles’ Annual Slurry Seal Project is going out to bid and will cover the section of Creston Road from Niblick Road to Scott Street. Along with a new surface, the existing striping and signs will have an upgrade to current state standards and will be more consistent with the traffic plan adopted by city council. “Buffered” bike lanes with a wide stripe are included for the part of the road near Sherwood Park. The width of Creston Road in this section allows addition of these bike lane upgrades while keeping traffic lanes as wide as those used on Highway 101.
If pricing from contractors is low enough, the Creston Road slurry seal and striping will extend to Myrtlewood Drive.
