Songwriters At Play to feature Pi Jacobs Oct. 25
–Songwriters At Play Showcase will present L.A.’s Pi Jacobs on Oct. 18, from 1-4 p.m. at Sculpterra Winery, 5015 Linne Rd., Paso Robles. The show is for all ages, and there is no cover charge.
Pi Jacobs has been featured on many Songwriters At Play shows over the past few years, including a recent John Denver tribute at Shell Cafe. Jacobs is back and is touring with a new CD, “Hi-Rise Ranch.” The one cover song in the six-song collection is “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You,” popularized by Led Zeppelin. Jacobs’ songs have been included in the soundtracks to dozens of films and TV shows.
The showcase also includes special guest Robi Duganne.
Songwriters At Play holds showcases every Sunday afternoon, 1-4 p.m. at Sculpterra Winery. The showcase includes one featured act and others playing four-song sets.
Sculpterra Winery is located at 5015 Linne Rd., in Paso Robles.
