Songwriters at Play to host Ynana Rose, Shadowlands April 22

–Songwriters At Play will present a concert featuring quartet Shadowlands, and singer-songwriter Ynana Rose on Friday, April 22 from 7-10 p.m. at D’Anbino Cellars, located at 710 Pine St., in Paso Robles. Tickets are $12. Reservations are highly recommended at (805) 227-6800 ext. 700.
Ynana (pronounced Y’nah-nah) Rose’s music can best be described as “Acoustic Americana music threaded with folk, bluegrass, country, jazz and more.” Pulling on inspiration from Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Sarah Jarosz, The Duhks, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Gillian Welch and more, Rose’s music is rooted in the traditions of American music while reaching for new horizons.
Shadowlands is a quartet made up of Mark Davis, Karoline Hausted, Bob & Wendy Liepman – three distinct songwriters and a cellist. Shadowlands has already gained considerable local attention, including a main stage appearance at the Live Oak Music Festival and winning a New Times Music Awards. Their debut CD is played often on public radio KCBX.
Songwriters At Play concerts are held twice-monthly on Fridays at D’Anbino Cellars. Cheese plates and desserts are available, but guests are welcome to bring their own dinner too.
