Songwriters At Play Kicks Off New Concert Series 

Acoustic music concert at D’Anbino Cellars on January 10

Songwriters At Play presents an acoustic music concert at D’Anbino Cellars in Paso Robles on Friday, Jan.10 featuring two inventive instrumental masters, and a passionate singer of original songs in the tradition of old-school country, folk, and gospel.

From old-timey to blues to Celtic to Latin, Kenny Blackwell and Dorian Michael play something for everyone; Blackwell’s mandolin and guitar work have been heard in television and movie scores. Michael has been a working guitarist for four decades playing blues and folk, jazz and rock and roll. He calls his solo music “contemporary traditional” – original music that reflects his interest in a number of styles of music. Songwriters At Play concerts are held monthly on second Fridays at D’Anbino Cellars, 710 Pine St., Paso Robles. Tickets are $10 and the show begins at 7 p.m. Reservations are accepted at (805) 227-6800 ext. 700. .
