South County massage parlor inspections result in three citations
–On Aug. 12, 2019 and Aug. 19, 2019, the Grover Beach Police Department and the Grover Beach Code Compliance Officer, conducted inspections of eight active massage establishments within the City of Grover Beach. Of the eight locations, two establishments were found in violation of City Ordinances and State Law.
Two owner/operators and one employee associated with the two establishments were issued citations for the violations.
The non-compliant locations were;
Therapeutic Healing Center 191 S. Oak Park Blvd
Waves Massage 1539 W. Grand Avenue
The individuals cited and their respective violations were:

All individuals were cited and released. As is a standard practice, each location will undergo a city administrative review of their permits and licenses based on the adjudication of these criminal cases. A copy of the investigations will be forwarded to the California Massage Therapy Council for their state administrative review of the massage practitioner licenses.
