South County massage therapist arrested on sexual assault charge
Detectives said they believe there may be more victims
– An Arroyo Grande massage therapist was arrested following a police investigation into a sexual assault allegation, according to multiple reports.
Jeffrey Bennet Bowers, 33, was booked into jail on one charge of sexual penetration with a foreign object, according to a news release from the Arroyo Grande Police Department. His bail was set at $100,000.
Police said Bowers was arrested at his business, SLO Massage Therapy, located at 210 Traffic Way, Suite C. According to police, he has worked as a massage therapist in the South County area for at least 14 years.
