Sparkle Cheer is the first Special Olympics cheer team in the area

–The Sparkle Cheer Team held its first practice last week at Paso Robles High School with five new athletes. Sparkle Cheer is the first Special Olympics cheer team in our area. The students will not only be cheering at Special Olympics in May, but they will also be cheering at Special Olympic basketball games between PRHS
and Atascadero.

Coach Tori Loney said, “It was amazing!! I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to work with our athletes. We all couldn’t stop smiling all day!” They practice every other week and are coached by the PRHS cheer coaches and cheer squad members.
