Stabbing near Food 4 Less leaves three injured 

Incident appears to be gang-related

–On Saturday, at approximately 11:43 p.m., the Paso Robles Police Department received a report of a fight involving numerous subjects in the 1400 block of Creston Road near the Food 4 Less market.

Responding officers located several subjects fleeing the area on foot and in vehicles and several were detained. During this preliminary investigation, it was learned that three male adult stabbing victims had driven themselves from the scene to a local hospital. Two of these victims were admitted for treatment of multiple, non-life threatening stab wounds. The third victim was treated and released for his stab wounds.

The victims all reported they were attacked without provocation in the market parking lot by a suspect they did not know. This incident appears to be gang related, police say.

The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 25-30 years old last seen wearing a red shirt and tan pants.

Paso Robles Police Department investigators are working with their counterparts from the county gang task force to follow-up on leads related to this case. No further information can be released at this
time.
