Stabbing reported in Paso Robles 

–On Thursday, at approximately 2 p.m. a San Luis Obispo Sheriff Deputy was patrolling in the 2800 block of Spring Street, when he was flagged down by a citizen who was reporting a fight had just occurred. The deputy notified the Paso Robles Police Department and officers responded. Once on scene, officers learned that two male subjects had been involved in a fight and one of the subjects stabbed the other.

It was learned that the suspect, a 56-year-old male, had confronted the victim and stabbed him, a 25-year-old male victim, during the altercation. The injury to the victim was non-life threatening and he was transported via ambulance to the hospital.

The suspect, who also sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation, was also transported to the hospital via ambulance.

There are no outstanding suspects in this case and the incident was isolated to the involved subjects.

Paso Robles Police Detectives are following up on the investigation.
