Standing water may have been factor in crash on Spring Street Sunday
–Rain and standing water contributed to traffic hazards and accidents in Paso Robles and the North County.
Sunday night, Niblick road in front of Paso Robles High School flooded in the westbound lanes.
Standing water may have contributed to an accident on Spring and 21st around 5:30 Sunday night.
An SUV struck a pole at the intersection, which caused serious damage to the car. No word yet on injuries to the motorists.
Paso Robles Police remind people to slow down and exercise caution when driving in wet weather.
The North County is expected to receive more rainfall off and on through the week.
