Stein’s BBQ Co. opening in downtown Paso Robles
–Brian and Nancy Stein and family are opening a new restaurant in downtown Paso Robles. Stein’s BBQ Company, located at 1240 Park Street, will open its doors with a Grand Opening celebration on Nov. 8. The new restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and offer consistently delicious California BBQ at a price point anyone can afford.
Brian and Nancy Stein have been serving their award-winning BBQ cuisine for the last three decades. Their catering business, Stein’s BBQ & Catering, is a favorite for wedding and winery events. They will continue their catering business and have partnered with their children for the new restaurant.
“Everyone loved Stein’s Deli in Atascadero, we know people still talk about it. In the past, we would throw around the idea of a restaurant, but the timing didn’t quite make sense. I came across the downtown Paso location and knew right away this was the opportunity that we had been waiting for,” said son Kris Gerkins.
Steins BBQ Company will serve California BBQ favorites including Santa Maria-style tri-tip, pastrami sandwiches, ale basted chicken, pulled pork, ribs, and an array of house-made sides. Fans of the deli will be happy to know that some of their old favorites will be available as daily specials.
“We’re so excited to share our phenomenal food with people and bring them into our family. This is just the beginning of many good things!” says Chef Brian Stein.
