-Ongoing Story Time programs at the Paso Robles Library include Toddler Story Time, Preschool Story Time and Grandparents & Books and Mother Goose on the Loose.

  • Toddler Story Time: For ages 1-3, two sessions every Friday, 10:30 a.m. and  11:30 a.m. in the Story Hour Room. Includes stories, movement, music and a simple craft. Children begin to learn listening skills in a program geared to the interests and abilities of the littlest listeners. Adults must accompany their child to the Story Room.
  • Preschool Story Time: For ages 3-6, two sessions every Monday, 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the Story Hour Room. Includes stories, movement, music and a craft. Children can practice listening and socialization skills while having lots of fun.
  • Mother Goose on the Loose: For ages 0-18 months, second and fourth Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Story Hour Room beginning September 14. This is an early literacy program that uses nursery rhymes and songs to create positive connections between children and their caregivers.
  • Grandparents & Books: For all ages, every Wednesday, beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the Story Hour Room. This program is less structured and book time and activities shared informally on a drop-in basis by volunteer grandparents.
