Its’ story time at the library 

The Paso Robles City Library has announced the following story time programs at the library. Space is limited for the following three programs, so pick up a free admission ticket at the children’s desk prior to the program.

Mother Goose on the Loose

This early literacy program uses nursery rhymes for ages 0-18 months and songs to create positive connections between children and their caregivers.Due to the nature of this program, attendance is limited to the first 10 participants (one caregiver/one child) only. Program is every second and fourth Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Story Hour Room.

Toddler Story Time

Children begin to learn listening skills in a program geared to the interests and abilities of the littlest listeners. The program includes stories,movement, music and a simple craft. Adults must accompany their child to the Story Room. The program is for ages 1–3, every Friday at 10:30 a.m. and at 11:30 a.m. in the Story Hour Room.

Preschool Story Time

Children, ages 3–6, can practice listening and socialization skills while having lots of fun with stories, movement, music and a craft. Space is limited for above programs, so pick up a free admission ticket at the children’s desk prior to the program. The program is every Monday at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30- a.m. in the Story Hour Room.

Grandparents and Books

This program is for all ages, every Wednesday, beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the Story Hour Room and offers a less structured experience with book time and activities shared informally on a drop-in basis by volunteer grandparents.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit the library website.
